Set on the call, while the date is fresh
The easiest moment to set a reminder is when the date comes up. Tilly does it there and then on the call, so nobody has to remember to do it later, and the customer hears from you when it is time to book.
How she offers one
- Garages: when she looks up a registration and the vehicle check finds the MOT date, she offers a text before the MOT runs out
- Everyone else: when a caller says when their service or check-up is due, she offers the same
- She sets a reminder only after a clear yes, and keeps what the caller agreed to, with the date, as the record of their consent
- Reminders go to UK mobiles only
Sent when you choose
Choose whether the text goes 7, 14, 21 or 28 days before the due date. It comes from your business name, says what is due and when, gives your number to book, and ends with a stop link.
Every reminder in one place
The Reminders page in your dashboard lists every reminder waiting to go, with what the caller agreed to. Cancel any of them with one click, and see every text that has been sent. If a caller uses the stop link, their waiting reminders from your business are cancelled too.
Off until you switch it on
Turn on reminder texts in your receptionist's call handling settings and she starts offering them. It works on every plan.
